In this bathroom renovation, the client had a clear vision, and we aimed to bring their dream bathroom to life. The project featured a floating vanity sink, a wall-hung toilet, and a custom shower base with a frameless shower door. The process was swift, involving a mix of painted and ceramic brick walls. We used subway tiles for the shower enclosure and small hexagon tiles for the flooring. The design also incorporated sleek fixtures and modern lighting. As with all our projects, we utilized the Schluter system for waterproofing and durability, ensuring a high-quality finish that will last for years.
Energy efficiency was a key requirement for this project, so we insulated all exterior walls with closed-cell spray foam. The pantry was removed to accommodate additional cabinetry and enclose the fridge. For the cabinets, we combined an IKEA framework with custom-made panels to create a modern design. We used soapstone countertops to contrast with the backsplash and cabinets. Additionally, the client restored metal cabinets, which were seamlessly integrated into the design.
