The client collaborated with a designer to transform their master bathroom into a dream retreat. Although the bathroom was in good condition, it was due for a striking update. The plan included a walk-in shower with a curb and a seamless integration of a drop-in tub with the shower space.

High-end materials featured Kohler plumbing fixtures, a Room & Board double vanity sink, and pure white slabs for the tub, curb, and window. Marble covered the floors and walls, with subway tiles adding stylish accents.

The back wall of the shower and tub, approximately 10×10 feet, was particularly challenging. Subway tiles were meticulously arranged in a stacked pattern, taking nearly a week to complete. The result is a stunning transformation that exceeds expectations.

Energy efficiency was a key requirement for this project, so we insulated all exterior walls with closed-cell spray foam. The pantry was removed to accommodate additional cabinetry and enclose the fridge. For the cabinets, we combined an IKEA framework with custom-made panels to create a modern design. We used soapstone countertops to contrast with the backsplash and cabinets. Additionally, the client restored metal cabinets, which were seamlessly integrated into the design.
